Dear Students, Teachers, and Special Guests of the Garland Class of ’65,
Remember that hailstorm on graduation night that drove us from Williams Stadium into the boys’ gym? Well, in the great tradition of the Garland High School Class of 1965, disaster has struck again! After months of planning and dealing with the folks at Garland High School, we just learned that we will NOT be able to hold our Friday night reunion event at Garland High School. It is under construction.
But, hey, we’ve learned to be flexible, right? The most important part of any reunion is the people, and we have approximately 900 people coming, including students, teachers (high school, junior high and elementary) and spouses. Therefore, we’re moving our Friday night event to North Garland High. Actually, except for not being GHS, the facility is better suited to a large gathering with a large cafeteria, an outdoor courtyard and extremely wide hallways. And there will be plenty of parking close to the entrance. North Garland High is only 2 miles from GHS and is very easy to find. Here’s the scoop.

For those of you who have signed up for the paid Saturday night event, there is absolutely no change whatsoever. It will still be held at the Swingin’ D Ranch as planned (again dress is casual).
