Reunion headquarters for all of our out-of-town classmates will be the Homewood Suites by Hilton located at 2601 George Bush Parkway, Plano, TX 75074. You ask----why Plano? If you haven't been to Garland in a while, you will be shocked to see that the growth in the area has been to the North. This hotel, is located right in between Garland High School and The Swingin D Ranch, and is the perfect location for everyone coming in for the Reunion. There is a beautiful lobby and a lovely pool area that will be fun places to gather and tell stories. When you check in, a packet will be waiting for you with a local map and suggestions for restaurants that are close by.
This particular hotel is the Premier property for all of the Homewood Suites. Contemporary in design, it offers spacious one and two bedroom studio suites. A Reunion rate has been negotiated at $79.00 + tax per night for one bedroom suites and $129.00 + tax for two bedroom suites. You can request either one King bed or two double beds for your room. This rate includes a complimentary hot breakfast each morning. We have on hold a block of rooms in the name of GHS Class Reunion. Our rooms well be held until June 10, 2005; after that time, you can still call the hotel and ask for our group rate, but there will be no guarantee that rooms will still be available.
